✨ AI Insights & Summary

THERAPIUM, a rapidly expanding physiotherapy group in Berlin, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to bolster its Backoffice team. This role is perfect for a meticulous individual eager to contribute to the professionalization of a growing healthcare provider, offering a unique chance to shape financial structures and processes from the ground up. If you thrive in dynamic environments and possess a keen eye for financial accuracy, this is an exceptional opportunity to grow with an ambitious company.

About THERAPIUM

THERAPIUM is a growing physiotherapy group in Berlin with six locations and over 60 employees. We are evolving from a single practice into one of the city's most ambitious groups, aiming to advance physiotherapy entrepreneurially while preserving its core therapeutic values. We are professionalizing our structures and building the team to support our growth.

Your Role

You will support the management in operational finance and administration. You will serve as the central point of contact between our practice locations, management, and external tax office, ensuring that our financial accounting is cleanly prepared, complete, and submitted on time.

Your Responsibilities

1) Preparatory Financial Accounting

  • Review and manage all incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing payments, account movements, and direct debits across all locations.
  • Review, categorize, and systematically file all documents, bank statements, and receipts (digital and physical).
  • Verify cash register documentation and monthly reports.
  • Ensure completeness of all accounting documents and request missing documents from locations.
  • Prepare and upload documents to ETL/PISA for the tax office.

2) Cost and Receivables Management

  • Monitor open receivables and default fees.
  • Coordinate with practice managers on payments and billing.
  • Support internal financial and cost controls.

3) Administration & Organization

  • Communicate with the tax office, service providers, and internal contacts.
  • Monitor deadlines and appointments for finance-related processes.
  • Maintain the digital and physical archive in compliance with statutory retention periods.

4) Payment Management & Intercompany Billing

  • Prepare and execute transfers for all practice locations.
  • Create internal cost allocations within the THERAPIUM Group.
  • Prepare and execute monthly payroll payments in coordination with the tax office and management.
  • Monitor liquidity and control all payment transactions.

What You Bring

  • Experience in preparatory financial accounting (ideally in an environment with multiple locations or companies).
  • Structured, meticulous working style with an eye for completeness and order.
  • Proficient in digital tools (ETL/PISA, DATEV, or comparable accounting systems; good Excel skills).
  • Independence: You proactively identify and address tasks.
  • Discretion and reliability when working with sensitive financial data.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus, but not required.

What We Offer

  • A role with significant influence, not just administrative tasks; you'll help build structures.
  • Flexibility: Working hours (20-30 hours/week) will be agreed upon with you.
  • Short communication channels and quick decision-making directly with management.
  • Development perspective: Your role can grow with our expansion (towards controlling, financial planning).
  • Be part of a team that is currently forming and help shape our Backoffice operations.
