The Opportunity
Join the Abbott Diabetes Care Division in this remote field-sales role, where you'll help people with diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. As a global leader, we are committed to continuous improvement in glucose monitoring. This position is crucial for meeting sales objectives and fostering strong relationships within the healthcare community.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales quotas/objectives for ADC Products.
- Collaborate with Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, and other healthcare constituents.
- Act in a friendly, respectful, and adaptive manner, focusing on customer needs.
- Stay current on internal and competitive products and market trends.
- Professionally and accurately convey information about products and services.
- Develop and implement effective short- and long-term sales plans.
- Conduct sales-focused activities, including clear communication, persuasive positioning of products, and objection handling.
- Develop and implement territory, account, and call plans.
- Track and report progress against plans, adjusting efforts as needed.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time, including documenting daily activity.
- Maintain accountability for all samples per Division guidelines.
- Work within established quality and compliance guidelines.
Experience You'll Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of previous sales experience with a commendable track record, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity, and ambition.
Preferred:
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Diabetes clinical knowledge and experience calling on Endocrinologists.
This position may be hired at different levels depending on candidate experience.
Compensation
- The base pay for this position is $64,000.00 – $128,000.00.
- In specific locations, the pay range may vary.
- Note: A second pay range of $68,000.00 – $136,000.00 is also listed for this position.
