Delivery Engineer – Data

About the Role

As a Delivery Engineer at Ollion, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing scalable, cloud-native data systems that drive enterprise transformation. You'll collaborate closely with clients and partners, tackling unique business challenges within a high-performing Data & AI delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Solution Delivery: Design and build robust data engineering solutions in collaboration with business and technical leaders.
• Pipeline & Modeling Development: Implement scalable ELT/ETL pipelines, cloud data warehouse structures, and dimensional data models using production-grade SQL.
• Data Analytics & Visualization: Design and implement enterprise-grade dashboards and semantic models using tools like Power BI.
• Coding & Automation: Utilize advanced SQL and Python for complex data manipulation, workflow automation, and pipeline orchestration.
• Data Security & Governance: Enforce rigorous security best practices, including RBAC and data encryption.
• Documentation Excellence: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Continuous Learning: Rapidly master cutting-edge, cloud-native technologies in AI, DataOps, and the cloud ecosystem.
• Industry Exposure: Acquire deep domain expertise across diverse client industries.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• Client-Facing Experience: 1–2 years of experience delivering high-impact data solutions in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Technical Core: 1–3 years of hands-on experience with cloud-native data tools (e.g., dbt, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Databricks).
• SQL & Scripting Expertise: Expert-level SQL and practical Python experience for script automation.
• Power BI Capability: Proven experience designing enterprise-grade data visualizations and dashboards in Power BI.
• Database Foundations: Practical exposure to modern cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse/SQL, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery).
• Architectural & DevOps Awareness: Understanding of ELT architectures, dimensional modeling, Git, and CI/CD principles.
