About the Role

Join the Intellectual Property business unit as a Business Development Representative, where you will be the catalyst for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities with prospective clients. You will play a pivotal role in generating high-value leads, ensuring Enterprise Account Managers are set up for success with well-prepared meetings and insightful prospect information. This position thrives on collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional prospect experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop target lists of key contacts within your assigned prospect accounts using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo.
  • Design and execute creative engagement campaigns using email, HubSpot, LinkedIn, and phone to spark prospect curiosity.
  • Uncover new business opportunities by understanding prospect interests, needs, and knowledge gaps through insightful conversations with senior decision-makers.
  • Professionally and promptly respond to all marketing-generated leads to identify potential opportunities.
  • Consistently deliver a high volume of qualified meetings for Enterprise Account Managers, complete with detailed handover notes and briefings.
  • Ensure every prospect interaction provides a high-quality experience and leaves a positive impression.
  • Meticulously record all activities and client interactions in Salesforce, maintaining data accuracy and quality.

Requirements

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Approximately 12 months of B2B inside sales experience, ideally within SaaS, software, data analytics, or subscription-based solutions.
  • Proven ability to confidently engage prospects via phone, establish credibility, and build rapport.
  • A collaborative team mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and resilience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work towards and achieve weekly and monthly targets.
  • A genuine interest in technology and innovation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and experience using AI in sales processes is a plus.
  • Ability to utilize metrics to monitor performance and understand results and key drivers.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Location: U.S.
  • National Base Pay Range: $42,600 - $70,800
  • Total Target Cash Range: $65,600 - $109,000
  • *Geographic differentials may apply.
  • *If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $50,204 - $80,196, and the total target cash range is $77,462 - $123,738.
  • Pay mix between base and variable pay varies by sales role; discuss with the recruiter.
