The Role

We are hiring an SMB Sales Representative who will serve as the primary point of contact for independent convenience store and QSR owners across the US. This is a phones-first role focused on converting warm interest into active, revenue-generating stores on the Lula platform. Your core objective is to guide owners through a short signup process to go live with delivery services. You will work with a curated list of warm leads, clearly articulate Lula's value proposition, and support owners through to completion. This role is ideal for individuals who are relentless, possess strong phone presence, and are energized by achieving clear daily and weekly targets. It's a high-volume, high-rhythm position where success is measured by activation numbers.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain a daily dial cadence targeting a curated list of warm SMB leads, specifically independent convenience stores and QSRs selling branded hot food.
  • Connect with owners and decision-makers, rapidly build trust, and clearly explain how Lula enables stores to integrate with platforms like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub using a single tablet with no added staff hassle.
  • Utilize the earnings estimator to demonstrate potential delivery revenue for stores of similar size in their area.
  • Successfully guide owners through the signup process to go live on the platform.
  • Address common objections (e.g., "no time," "already on DoorDash," "no monthly fees," "sounds complicated") with clarity and confidence.
  • Work leads with discipline, making calls during optimal windows, logging outcomes accurately, and following up on commitments without letting leads fall through the cracks.
  • Meet and exceed weekly activation targets.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the team regarding effective messaging, common owner pushback, and lead conversion patterns to refine the pitch and lead targeting.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years in a phone-intensive sales role (inside sales, telesales, SDR/BDR, or SMB field sales), with a strong preference for experience in restaurant, retail, c-store, payments, or SaaS.
  • Genuine enjoyment of phone-based sales and the ability to build rapport quickly with busy business owners.
  • Comfort with high daily dial volumes and motivation derived from outcome-based metrics rather than activity alone.
  • Clear, straightforward communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts like revenue share, free trial periods, and tablet integration simply.
  • Excellent organizational skills and discipline in managing a lead list or CRM, ensuring accurate outcome logging and timely follow-ups.
  • Resilience and self-motivation, able to handle rejection positively and maintain high energy throughout a full day of calls.
  • Must be US-based and authorized to work in the US, comfortable working within US business hours across different time zones.

  • Prior experience selling to independent convenience stores, gas stations, or quick-service restaurants.
  • Familiarity with major delivery marketplaces (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub).
