About the Role

This is a contract role for a Creative Project Manager, requiring registration as an independent contractor. The position is full-time, starting ASAP, with a duration of 12 months. It is based in LA/West Hollywood with occasional travel required for designated events.

Role Purpose

The Creative Project Manager will lead the end-to-end operational management of high-visibility creative projects within the Enterprise Communications function. This role ensures the accurate, urgent, and high-quality execution of all creative assets, acting as the primary liaison between designers, business partners, and stakeholders. Key objectives include ensuring clarity of briefs, brand alignment, efficient workflow, and upholding operational discipline across numerous concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

Project Intake & Management

  • Manage intake for all design-related requests, advising leadership on resourcing, timelines, and prioritization.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure briefs are complete, accurate, and actionable.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact across multiple project streams, performing traditional project management duties.
  • Maintain strong communication throughout each project lifecycle.
  • Manage Global Town Hall projects (2-3 times per year).

Creative Production Planning & Execution

  • Develop detailed production plans, coordinating timelines, dependencies, review cycles, and approval milestones.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, design reviews, and stakeholder check-ins.
  • Monitor project milestones, ensuring timely delivery of assets aligned with briefs.
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation for clarity and transparency.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Proactively identify and remove project blockers.
  • Refine and champion creative workflows, intake processes, tools, and asset storage systems.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI or automation into project operations for administrative efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster an inclusive, constructive, and solution-oriented project environment.
  • Manage competing priorities across a complex stakeholder landscape.
  • Communicate changes early and facilitate resolutions.

Shared Accountabilities & Dependencies

  • Align creative deliverables with business priorities by partnering with designers, writers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear, realistic, and mutually understood project timelines, capacity, and expectations with communications and design leaders.
  • Collaborate with communications program owners to ensure creative deliverables meet campaign goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing creative projects in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional project management skills (intake, scheduling, workflow design, stakeholder coordination).
  • Strong understanding of design processes, brand systems, and creative production lifecycles.
  • High attention to detail, risk identification, and quality enforcement.
  • Strong communication skills for translating requirements, articulating feedback, and facilitating collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage concurrent workloads, and operate with urgency and accountability.
  • Experience leveraging AI or process-automation tools for project efficiency is a plus.
