The Role

As part of the Technical Solutions team, you will act as an in-house product expert, enabling Datadog’s worldwide growth by educating prospects and ensuring customer success. Premier Support Engineers (PSEs) are the primary technical point of contact for prospects and customers, engaging through various channels, including cadence calls, demos, conferences, and direct support. You will work closely with Datadog's Premier Customer base in a fast-paced environment, witnessing the immediate impact of your contributions.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to client requests via phone, chat, and tickets, educating clients on platform usage.
  • Develop strong relationships with Premier Customers, understanding their unique environments.
  • Reproduce technical issues and investigate Datadog's 600+ integrations.
  • Create documentation and knowledge base articles for diverse technologies.
  • Drive product discussions based on client needs and challenges.
  • Participate in routine health check meetings with Premier Customers.
  • Work from a Datadog office 3-5 days per week (hybrid model).

Who You Are

  • Experienced in multi-channel technical support at a SaaS company (2+ years).
  • A hands-on tinkerer with some programming experience and basic Linux knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, detail-attentive, and eager for continuous learning.
  • A critical thinker with a client-centric approach.
  • A decisive individual who knows when to escalate issues.
  • Previous experience in a Premium/Enterprise technical support role.
  • Knowledgeable about current infrastructure and monitoring solutions/technologies.
  • Able to work a rotating schedule, including weekend availability.

Datadog offers a competitive salary range of $81,000—$119,000 USD, plus equity and potential variable compensation, based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
