Junior Game Analyst Internship

About the Role

Support the Game Analytics team in crucial areas such as data tracking, dashboard development, KPI monitoring, and player behavior analysis. Your work will directly enable data-driven decisions across various game projects.

Daily Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure & Tracking

• Assist with analytics data maintenance and migration tasks.
• Support the implementation and validation of tracking for game features.
• Help identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Learn and apply analytics tools and best practices.

Data Visualization & Reporting

• Maintain existing dashboards and reports for monitoring game performance.
• Create and enhance visualizations based on stakeholder requirements.
• Learn and apply new analytics tools and visualization best practices.

Data Analysis

• Analyze player behavior and game performance to generate actionable insights.
• Support feature evaluations and A/B testing analysis.
• Prepare and present reports to product and game teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and data requirements.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and data literacy.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Understanding of data visualization principles and dashboarding concepts.
• Genuine interest in mobile games and key game KPIs (e.g., Retention, DAU, MAU, Monetization).
• Good communication skills and a proactive willingness to learn.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar analytical tools.
• Prior experience with academic, personal, or internship data projects.
• A passion for gaming and analyzing player behavior.
