About the Role

The G&A team at Datadog is instrumental in scaling the physical space, hiring, onboarding, and financial and legal systems to ensure the business runs optimally. As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will be a critical support function for the Global Sales Team, working cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Billing, Contracts, and Legal teams. This is a growth-oriented position designed to evolve with Datadog’s continuous expansion.

What You'll Do

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Datadog’s licensing and pricing models to provide expert deal structuring and quoting support to global sales teams.
  • Act as a creative problem-solver, balancing customer needs with Datadog’s selling policies.
  • Resolve customer satisfaction issues post-deal execution.
  • Engage in direct customer negotiations as required.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Sales on deal pricing matters.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, protocols, and business rules.

Who You Are

  • Possess at least 4 years of overall experience, including relevant areas such as sales operations, finance, sales strategy, and sales enablement.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience specifically in deal structuring/quoting complex SaaS transactions for a fast-growing, multi-national company.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
  • Comfortable representing the company in customer negotiations and resolving satisfaction issues.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
