About the Role

The Channels & Alliances team is looking for a Partner Enablement Manager to drive partner onboarding, activation, and enablement across the Japanese partner ecosystem. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Partner Sales Managers (PSMs), partner companies, and the global Partner Enablement team to ensure partners have the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively position, sell, and support Datadog solutions. You will execute enablement programs in Japan and localize and implement global initiatives to meet the needs of domestic partners and the market.

This role is crucial for accelerating partner readiness and activation by supporting new partner onboarding, identifying high-potential partners, developing activation strategies, and delivering enablement experiences that lead to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities (業務内容)

  • Execute partner enablement programs in collaboration with the Global Partner Enablement team.
  • Provide an onboarding experience to help new partners quickly become active members of the Datadog Partner Network.
  • Support partner training, certification, workshops, webinars, and enablement initiatives.
  • Partner with PSMs to identify high-potential partners and develop activation strategies that accelerate engagement and business outcomes.
  • Assist in defining ideal partner profiles and activation criteria to enhance the quality of partner recruitment, onboarding, and program participation.
  • Adapt global enablement content, programs, and communications to align with the needs of Japanese partners and the market.
  • Gather feedback from partners and internal stakeholders to propose improvements, including identifying enablement gaps.
  • Conceptualize, implement, and drive new partner enablement models through distributors.

Qualifications (募集要項)

  • Over 7 years of experience in partner enablement, sales enablement, partner programs, channel operations, training, or a related role within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience in developing and delivering onboarding, training, certification, and enablement programs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • High level of organization and project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience identifying improvement opportunities using data and feedback, and measuring program effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Japanese).
  • Ability to travel approximately 20-30% annually.
