About the Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in expanding TheFork's network by proactively engaging with restaurant owners and managers. You will identify potential clients, schedule meetings, and present TheFork’s suite of products and services designed to enhance their business. This role involves a mix of scheduled appointments and spontaneous "drop-ins" to build relationships and close deals, aiming for 4-5 client interactions per day.
What You Will Do
- Proactively contact and schedule meetings with restaurant owners or managers after identifying in-scope restaurants.
- Conduct frequent "drop-ins" and scheduled meetings to present TheFork’s products and services enthusiastically.
- Showcase TheFork’s offerings, including table management software, promotional tools, online booking calendars, and marketing solutions.
- Engage with owners and managers to understand their specific needs and highlight the benefits of TheFork Manager tool and our extensive guest network.
- Follow up diligently with potential clients to ensure deals are closed and restaurants are successfully published online.
Who You Are
- Fluent in German and proficient in English.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and motivated to exceed targets.
- A foodie with a strong interest in digital products, technology, and the restaurant sector.
- Customer- and sales-oriented with persuasive and influencing skills.
- A high-performing professional with proven sales experience, capable of closing deals efficiently.
- Experience in business development, ideally within B2B, restaurant, or hospitality sectors, with strong negotiation skills for short-term deals.
- Dynamic, independent, and organized, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Curious, eager to learn, and motivated for professional growth.
- Proficient in PC use and Microsoft Office; CRM software experience is a plus.
