Base Salary
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.
Must-Haves:
- Expert SQL & Comfortable with Unstructured Complex Data: Ability to extract accurate insights from raw, unstructured data without relying solely on pre-defined models.
- Reporting Ownership & Data Literacy: Proven ability to build, standardize, drive adoption of reports, and enhance data literacy within teams.
- Performance Marketing Optimization: Skill in connecting data directly to key business levers such as campaign performance, conversion rates, or revenue per session.
- Advanced LookML Development (or equivalent in Power BI / Tableau): Expertise in architecting complex data models with a thorough understanding of downstream impacts.
- Curiosity & Business Depth: A proactive approach to asking questions and a drive to grow business knowledge to become a trusted analytical partner, not just a report builder.
Experience Required
Minimum 7 years in business intelligence or analytics, with direct exposure to performance or affiliate marketing. The ideal candidate has end-to-end reporting ownership (pipeline to dashboard), experience with complex, third-party data, and a strong track record of partnering with business teams to uncover trends and drive decisions.
Your Role
As a Lead BI Developer, you will own the reporting infrastructure that drives decision-making across our Credit Cards, Make Money/Manage Money, Banking, and Marketplace verticals. You will have a clear growth path towards becoming a proactive analytical partner, anticipating business needs and providing forward-looking insights. You will be embedded with business teams from day one, partnering closely with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management to analyze experiments, creatives, offers, seasonality, and CAC performance. This role emphasizes deep engagement with the work's utilization and impact, not just dashboard creation.
Outcomes (Performance Expectations):
- 30 Days: Audit existing reporting, identify discrepancies/redundancies, and begin developing a standardization roadmap.
- 60 Days: Articulate business vertical revenue drivers and key performance levers; improve dashboard standardization and execute ad hoc requests accurately.
- 90 Days: Execute dashboard standardization roadmap, develop trusted data sources, and establish strong working relationships with key business teams.
- 6 Months: Build trust through education and best practices, deliver standardized reporting, and provide proactive retrospective analyses.
- Year 1: Become the trusted technical owner for assigned verticals, complete reporting standardization, consistently deliver retrospective analysis, and act as a go-to analytical partner recommending actions.

Total Compensation
Your compensation package includes base salary (set according to market rates), profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Future increases are based on company and personal performance.
