About the Role
As the District Sales Manager for the Northwest region, you will be responsible for managing and developing Peerless Pump sales through business partners and direct channels. Your role will involve formulating winning sales strategies, building robust distributor and contractor relationships, and driving revenue to meet or exceed targets. You will be a key part of the Peerless Pumps Sales team, expanding our market presence and delivering critical pumping solutions to industry and water utility customers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Select, manage, and develop business partners (distributors, agents, dealers, sales representatives) to promote and sell Peerless Pump products.
- Formulate and implement regional sales strategies, engaging with contractors and end-users to solicit business directly and through partners.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions, reviewing project specifications and drawings to ensure alignment with product offerings.
- Conduct business partner audits, provide performance feedback, and deliver product/business tool training.
- Develop and deliver compelling product presentations to diverse audiences and present key opportunities to U.S. Sales Leaders.
- Provide accurate sales reports and business planning documents to management.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Results-driven sales professional with 5+ years of experience in pump markets.
- Strong technical acumen to read and interpret project specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with 5-10 years of experience in pump sales or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of pumps, their markets, and applications across Industry and Water Utility segments.
- Professional sales skills including key account strategy development, pricing negotiation, and business partner management.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-business tools.
It's a Plus If You Have:
- Experience managing distributor and dealer networks across multiple territories.
- Familiarity with reading and commenting on project specifications and engineering drawings for pump systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays (estimated 50%).

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $105,200 - $163,895 USD (Individual pay determined by market location and candidate profile).
- Total Compensation: Includes base salary, paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs.
