Enterprise Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) to join our team. This is an outside sales position focused on direct selling and identifying new business opportunities, with potential for partner sales. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, with the primary goal of achieving sales targets and maximizing your on-target earnings through commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with automotive dealers, brands, or groups within your assigned territory to introduce our products and programs.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of all company products and programs.
  • Effectively manage a sales pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.
  • Demonstrate proven success in prospecting, building a robust pipeline, and advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Provide expert insights into the competitive landscape, including competitor products and strategies.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings and industry trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and sales activities within Salesforce.
  • Proactively drive partners to maximize sales by implementing best practices, providing support, and delivering training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales or a Sales Manager role.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Sales experience within the technology (SaaS) sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Platforms.
  • An extremely motivated, self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Must uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity as a representative of the Impel brand.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management.
  • Proven success in qualifying opportunities that involve multiple key decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays and potentially several hours of driving daily.
  • High energy, self-motivated, with an engaging and enthusiastic approach to sales.
