The Role

The Sr. Director, National Accounts will spearhead relationships with key partners such as Kroger and Albertsons, driving sales strategy and execution across divisional planning. This role focuses on cultivating strong customer partnerships, achieving profitable growth, and expanding Recess' market presence. Success requires a combination of strategic foresight and practical application, delivering results while nurturing long-term collaborations. This position is eligible for the Recess Sales Bonus Plan.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets, alongside key performance indicators (ACV, promo efficiency, trade ROI).
  • Manage trade and promotional budgets, ensuring efficient spending aligned with team objectives.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales pitch decks tailored to key accounts.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with buyers and senior account stakeholders.
  • Oversee the P&L for slotting, promotions, and other customer-related expenditures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain) to execute comprehensive account plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target channels.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on promotional schedules and customer activities.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of CPG sales experience, preferably in Mass or Grocery channels.
  • Prior experience with Kroger, Albertsons, or other national accounts is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of CPG sales processes and promotional planning.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Engaging presentation and communication abilities.
  • Proficient financial literacy for managing trade budgets and P&L.
  • Results-oriented, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
