The Opportunity

We are seeking an AI-forward Product Manager to own significant parts of our core ERP, Distru Commerce, and new AI-native product features. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will collaborate closely with the product, engineering, and design teams. This pivotal role involves defining and executing the product roadmap, with a strong emphasis on integrating AI agents into user workflows. You will be instrumental in determining where automation provides the most value and where human judgment remains essential, contributing to the development of the operating system for the cannabis industry.

What You'll Own

Own the Product Roadmap

• Define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring it is clear, prioritized, and communicated proactively with timelines, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and collaborate with engineers to synthesize customer requests into impactful features.
• Integrate AI agents seamlessly into the Distru user workflow.

Own the Product Lifecycle

• Design intuitive interaction patterns for AI-assisted planning, spec writing, requirements analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Determine the optimal balance between AI suggestion, automation, and user control, shipping clear affordances for users.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Act as a bridge between engineering, Customer Success, sales, and marketing, synthesizing insights to guide product direction.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience in tech product management.
• Proven track record of owning and shipping complex features end-to-end, from problem statement to launched feature with measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated AI fluency across tool functionality, workflow optimization, and product integration.
• Hands-on experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, Notion).
• Technical fluency, including the ability to read API documentation and write clear specifications.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to distinguish urgent from important.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Background in supply chain, ERP, CRM, B2B marketplaces, or accounting software.
• Experience with UX design.
• Familiarity with agentic systems and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
• Early-stage startup experience (sub-50 headcount).

Our Interview Process

1. Initial Screen: Conversation about your background, AI perspective, and mutual fit.
2. Product Work Session: Take-home prompt with live interactions.
3. Product Work Session Review: Deeper discussion of your work submission.
4. Final Interview: Call with the CEO.

Compensation

$135,000 - $175,000 per year (placement dependent on candidate's knowledge, experience, and skills).
