About the Role

In this position, you will actively shape and continuously improve the software verification of the Philips patient monitoring platform. You will collaborate closely with global teams in software and hardware verification, software development, systems engineering, and quality engineering, making a direct contribution to quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

Your Job:

  • Conceptualize and further develop the tool landscape for software test engineering, including defining tool requirements along existing test workflows.
  • Develop and maintain a software reporting environment, e.g., for automatic generation of test and quality documentation.
  • Ensure the quality of software reporting tools by creating and implementing tool verification plans.
  • Define and establish a standards-compliant working method for software test engineering, considering regulatory requirements and internal processes.
  • Close collaboration and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Project Management, Systems Engineering).
  • Develop and disseminate efficient best practices in software testing.

What You Should Bring:

  • Completed studies in engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical field.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills, as well as a solution-oriented approach to work.
  • High team orientation and motivation for personal and joint development.
  • Experience in software testing and a strong interest in test methods and processes.
  • Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and test automation (e.g., Gherkin).
  • Experience in Systems Engineering (e.g., SysML, Cameo) and Requirements Engineering.
  • Practical experience with test management tools like TFS / Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working with GitHub.
  • Programming skills in C#, C++, and/or Python.
  • Ideally, domain knowledge in patient monitoring or medical technology.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
