About the Opportunity

TechBiz Global is recruiting for one of its top clients, seeking a Head of Data to lead crucial data domains within an innovative organization. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will define strategy, shape architecture, and manage a team, elevating the function's professionalism and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the end-to-end data platform, encompassing ingestion, pipelines, architecture, quality, and governance.
• Manage business intelligence and management reporting.
• Handle regulatory data reporting to the Bank of Greece and ECB.
• Develop and implement a Data Governance framework, including policies, lineage, stewardship, and GDPR alignment.
• Lead initiatives for credit scoring models, AI/ML underwriting capabilities, and financial resilience metrics.
• Drive data team performance, professional development, and standards.

Requirements

Essential

• Senior data leadership experience within a regulated institution.
• Deep expertise in analytics and BI, with a proven track record in regulatory data reporting (e.g., Bank of Greece, ECB).
• Hands-on experience operating data platforms at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams, including performance management and fostering a professional culture.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance frameworks (lineage, stewardship, GDPR, data quality).

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Greek regulatory environment (BoG, CBI, DORA).
• Experience with financial resilience or behavioral credit modeling.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience, particularly in credit risk, scoring, or real-time decisioning.
