Responsibilities
PR, Media Relations & Partnership Strategy
- Press Office Management: Drafting, localizing, and distributing strategic press releases for Italian media outlets (tech, retail, business). Autonomously or with external media/PR partners.
- Partnership Communication: Ideation and dissemination of communication campaigns to highlight strategic agreements and new integrations in Italy.
- Co-Marketing with Commercial Partners: Managing PR and marketing relationships with Italian commercial partners for joint activities (e.g., webinars, workshops, case studies).
Digital, Content & Social Media Management
- Social Media Management (B2C/B2B): Strategic and operational management of LinkedIn Italy and assessment/management of other relevant channels.
- Brand Reputation Management: Monitoring, managing, and nurturing Base.com's brand image and user reviews across partner platforms and review sites.
- Content Marketing Strategy: Definition and management of the Italian editorial plan (blog posts, whitepaper localization, creation of Italian success stories).
- Brand Localization: Adaptation of Base.com's global tone of voice, messaging, and marketing materials for the Italian market.
- Email Marketing & Lead Nurturing: Technical and operational management of email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing flows via HubSpot.
Event Management & Amplification
- Full Event Management: Operational, logistical, and communication coordination of Base.com Italy's participation in trade shows, conferences, and workshops (offline and online).
- Post-Event Amplification: Content creation and strategy to maximize impact and lead generation from event participation.
Performance Coordination & Reporting
- SEO/GEO Agency Liaison: Main point of contact and workflow management with external agencies/consultants for SEO/GEO strategies, social media, etc.
- External Resource Coordination: Management and technical coordination of external freelancers (e.g., graphic designers, copywriters) for Italian marketing materials.
- Employee Advocacy: Coordination of Italian colleagues to amplify the brand voice on LinkedIn.
- KPI Measurement & Reporting: Constant monitoring and monthly reporting of main marketing KPIs for the Italian market.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in marketing, digital communication, or PR roles.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the SaaS, e-commerce, or tech industry is highly preferred.
- Mindset & Soft Skills: Highly proactive, hands-on, resourceful, with strong self-management skills and ability to navigate a fast-paced environment independently.
- Drive: Genuine desire to learn, grow, and build the role from the ground up, taking true ownership of Italian marketing operations.
