About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Leadership Talent Sourcer to serve as a strategic talent advisor and scout for our executive team. This is not a typical high-volume sourcing position; instead, it operates at the nexus of executive search, advanced technology, and business development. Success in this role requires a sales-oriented mindset, a genuine enthusiasm for emerging technologies, and a profound understanding of the intricate Government Contracting (GovCon) and Department of Defense (DoD) landscapes. Your responsibilities will include market mapping, cultivating relationships, and effectively communicating Anduril's mission to attract the industry's most sought-after technical and growth leaders.

This role is open to a 6-month contract.

What You'll Do

  • Talent Identification: Employ advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and competitive intelligence to identify target companies and uncover passive, high-caliber Business Development, Capture Management, and Sales leaders.
  • Candidate Engagement: "Sell the sellers." Initiate and nurture meaningful relationships with sophisticated growth talent through highly personalized messaging, informed by a deep understanding of our mission and technology.
  • Pipeline Development: Construct and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical business development roles, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality candidates to support our market capture strategy.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers and recruiters to grasp specific capture targets, understand customer profiles (e.g., DoD, federal, commercial), and align sourcing strategies with overarching business growth objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze sourcing metrics, engagement rates, and market data to refine outreach strategies and optimize talent acquisition workflows for growth-focused roles.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years in sourcing or recruiting, with a demonstrated history of successfully identifying and hiring for Business Development, Capture, Sales, or Account Management positions.
  • BD & SG&A Acumen: A deep understanding of the business development lifecycle (including pipeline development, proposal management, and capture strategy) and experience engaging top-tier sales and growth talent.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a unique talent for engaging, influencing, and building credibility with persuasive, relationship-driven candidates.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in utilizing data-driven approaches to assess sourcing effectiveness, map talent markets, and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search methodologies, and other contemporary sourcing tools.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Government BD & DoD Acumen: A thorough understanding of the unique complexities of Government Business Development (GovCon), including the federal procurement lifecycle, capture management processes, proposal phases, and engagement with military and defense customers.
  • Government/DoD Sales Familiarity: Familiarity with the federal procurement process, defense acquisition cycles, or military customer demographics is highly advantageous.
  • Tooling Experience: Expertise with Greenhouse, Gem, various AI sourcing tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Independent & Proactive: A high degree of self-sufficiency, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively identify niche talent pools.
  • Resilient & Creative Problem Solver: Demonstrated flexibility in addressing hard-to-fill requisitions, troubleshooting outreach strategies, and devising innovative sourcing solutions.
  • Strong Sense of Ownership: Takes full responsibility for pipeline health and alignment with business objectives, actively seeking opportunities to enhance hiring team performance.
  • Low Ego, High Curiosity: Values continuous learning and constructive feedback, embracing market insights as opportunities for growth and improvement.

Compensation

  • US Hourly Range: $50—$65 USD
