About the Role: Founder's Associate (Internship)

This is not a typical internship focused on menial tasks. As a Founder's Associate, you will work directly alongside our founder, taking on significant responsibility from day one. You'll drive your own initiatives, tackle complex operational challenges, and gain a steep learning curve in a high-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone eager to prove themselves and make a real impact.

Type: Pflichtpraktikum (Mandatory Internship) for 3-12 months
Location: Berlin

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the Founder on high-impact projects spanning Operations, Sales, Product, and Strategy.
  • Take ownership of operational tasks from day one, managing clients and properties end-to-end.
  • Oversee onboarding of new partners, coordinate with property managers, installers, and suppliers.
  • Maintain a clear overview of project statuses and identify missing elements.
  • Provide on-site support for client meetings and site inspections.
  • Drive independent initiatives from concept to implementation, translating unclear problems into concrete plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Independently explore and implement new areas, such as CRM workflows, tool implementations, AI automations, or other impactful improvements.
  • Analyze data, conduct market and competitor research, and derive actionable decisions.
  • Build and maintain internal reporting, documentation, and tracking systems.
  • Propose and implement improvements to internal processes.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering (e.g., Industrial Engineering), Real Estate Management, or a related field.
  • Ideally, 2+ relevant internships or professional experience in a startup, consulting, M&A, VC/PE, Real Estate, or Supply Chain, or equivalent high-intensity experience.
  • High intrinsic motivation and entrepreneurial thinking, with the ability to drive projects, learn rapidly, manage diverse tasks, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills to approach complex problems systematically and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, adaptable to various audiences (clients, investors, suppliers, partners).
  • Tech-savviness (e.g., AI, IoT, SaaS) and an interest or experience in Real Estate, PropTech, ClimateTech, or Energy is a plus.
  • Native-level German proficiency (non-negotiable) and fluent English.
