Job Purpose

As a Customer Growth Strategy Lead (CRM, Loyalty, Audience) at DEPT®, you will be the architect of client relationship strategies. You will own the Loyalty and Audience agenda, acting as the strategic lead for prominent brands. Your role involves translating client goals into sophisticated, data-driven CRM roadmaps, focusing on loyalty and audience-first principles to optimize customer relationships and ensure sustained brand engagement.

What You'll Do

  • CRM Visionary: Own the end-to-end loyalty narrative for clients, defining the customer agenda and ensuring ambition across all marketing activities.
  • Strategic Relationship/Lifecycle Management: Develop comprehensive loyalty propositions and customer experience strategies to cultivate long-term brand engagement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and lifetime value to identify target audience segments and frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Navigator: Serve as the primary strategic point of contact, navigating complex client environments with sensitivity, authority, and confidence.
  • Performance Optimization: Critically analyze and interpret strategy effectiveness using metrics such as customer retention rate, repeat purchase rate, and ROI.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Orchestration: Act as the crucial link between CRM, data, creative, and tech teams to create integrated, full-funnel experiences.
  • Growth Invention: Proactively identify opportunities to expand work scope into broader strategic areas and participate in new business pitches.
  • Practice Leadership: Drive internal knowledge by staying ahead of industry trends to ensure Relationship & CRM Strategies remain cutting-edge.

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience as a digital marketing strategist in CRM, loyalty propositions, programs, and audience-centric strategies, preferably gained at an agency.
  • A full-funnel architect with a deep understanding of CRM and marketing automation, including the interplay between creative, data, and performance.
  • Proven ability to guide clients from business strategy to implementation through advice, roadmaps, and innovative concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex data and information clearly to senior client leadership.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to distinguish between theoretical strategy and immediate action.
  • Natural networking skills to bring together diverse disciplines and specialists for a unified vision.
  • Located in and directly available to work from our Dutch or German offices.
  • Fluent in both German and English, capable of leading high-level strategic discussions in both languages.
