K-tronik is looking for a passionate Senior Test Engineer (m/f/x) to join our expert team, working with a leading client in the electromobility and battery technology sector. This is a permanent position where you will collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineers on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies. Aufgaben

• Contribute to an interdisciplinary team of hardware, software, and system engineers for the development and validation of intelligent battery sensors and Battery Management Systems (BMS) for automotive applications.
• Support the development of safety-critical battery management solutions with a focus on functionality, quality, and safety.
• Develop test cases for software and system integration, and qualification according to ASPICE and ISO 26262/21434 standards.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate test runs for regression and release tests in an agile development environment.
• Continuously provide test results and feedback to system and software responsible persons.
• Analyze CAN traces to narrow down error causes for failed test cases and customer issues.
• Participate in the further development of the XiL test infrastructure, for example, through increased automation of test execution and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Successfully completed university studies in an engineering field (Software Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering), Mathematics, or Applied Physics.
• Practical knowledge of various communication buses (CAN, LIN, SPI, ISOSPI) and protocols/standards (e.g., J1939, J1979, UDS).
• Experience in testing embedded software and systems in the automotive sector, as well as knowledge of XiL test methods (e.g., MiL, SiL, HiL) are advantageous.
• Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434 standards is desirable.
• Enjoy working in a team and possess strong communication skills in English.
