About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team and actively contribute to our growth. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing accounting processes and ensuring the reliability of our financial data. This position is initially limited to 18 months and can be filled full-time or part-time. An interest or initial experience in Data Analytics and/or Controlling is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Accounting
- Control, record, and book incoming and outgoing invoices (CRM & DATEV).
- Manage and book bank transactions.
- Process payments and monitor the dunning process.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Actively participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Contribute to the further development of automation in accounting processes.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal departments and external partners on accounting-related queries.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or a business administration degree.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting, controlling, or data analysis.
- Proficient knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Very good MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Basic understanding of database queries (SQL is a plus).
- Fluent German (minimum B2 level) and good English language skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of DATEV and/or a CRM system (e.g., MS Dynamics 365).
- Support in controlling, especially liquidity planning and budget forecasting.
- Involvement in creating the annual financial plan.
- Experience with data modeling tools, ideally Microsoft Power BI.
- Preparation and maintenance of current KPIs.
