IT Help Desk Technician: Support Global Operations with a Hybrid Model
Location: On-site in NYC offices 4 days/week, remote on Fridays
Position Type: Full-Time
Base Salary: $28 - $32/hr
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Analyst, IT Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic team at Kyu IT. This role supports multiple businesses across North and Central America, Europe, and the Far East. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to 1st and 2nd Line support requests via the IT helpdesk.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software technical issues.
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, and monitors.
- Support office technology, including conference rooms and desk equipment.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and manage stock levels.
- Assist with mobile device setup.
- Provide basic remote support for home-based colleagues.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Passion for technology and a desire for career growth.
- Background in 1st line support across Microsoft, Apple, and/or Google environments.
- Experience in hardware and OS administration (Windows or MacOS, ideally both).
- Basic knowledge of MDM platforms (e.g., InTune, Kandji).
- Experience troubleshooting A/V and common office WiFi issues is ideal.
- Proficiency with IT helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice).
- Excellent customer service skills and adaptability.
- Strong drive to expand your role and suggest process improvements.
- Positive, flexible, and motivational attitude.
Total Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $28 - $32/hr
