Your Mission (Aufgaben)
We are looking for you as a System Engineer (m/f/d) for Multidomain Directional Communications Development at the Berlin (hybrid) location. Your tasks include:
- In collaboration with System Engineers and specialists for operational scenarios, AESA antenna, and waveform development, you will develop and specify system and subsystem architectures as well as corresponding designs.
- Creating use cases to support system requirements is also part of your responsibilities.
- Requirements management includes capturing, analyzing, validating, and tracking requirements.
- You will model the system architecture at different levels and for various expansion stages.
- You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and successfully implement technical solutions.
- You will support the integration and validation of systems and components.
- Comprehensive documentation of system requirements and specifications completes your area of responsibility.
Your Profile (Qualifikation)
- You have completed technical studies, for example in the fields of communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or aerospace engineering.
- You have already gained initial experience in the systems engineering of complex technical systems.
- You possess knowledge of common systems engineering methods and tools, such as MBSE, Enterprise Architect, Cameo, and Jama.
- Passion and experience in adapting tools, along with proficient use of Excel, complete the profile.
- Knowledge of modern radio communication methods and/or safety requirements for flight approvals (e.g., DO178) are advantageous.
- Very good spoken and written German is required for effective communication within the project environment and with our German-speaking customers.
