Your Role: Responsibilities

  • Assume overall responsibility for a project portfolio covering the entire development cycle: site acquisition, commissioning of studies, analysis of optimal layout and turbine type, application for permits, and post-permit follow-up.
  • Prepare and manage approval processes according to the German Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG).
  • Undertake regular travel to potential wind and PV park locations.
  • Manage stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
  • Prepare decisions for management with corresponding reporting.
  • Monitor projects in terms of time, budget, and quality.
  • Manage project risks.

Your Profile: Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in Geography, Engineering, or Business Administration, or comparable qualifications or professional experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in project development, preferably in the wind or PV sector with a focus on permitting planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of the economic and legal framework conditions for wind energy, especially in planning law (BauGB, BImSchG, ROG, EEG, TA Lärm, BNatSchG, WindBG, etc.).
  • Experience in dealing with landowners, service providers, approval authorities, and municipalities.
  • Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the context of wind and PV parks.
  • Proficient use of MS Office applications is advantageous.
  • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel and a German driver's license (Class B).
