Business Development Representative (BDR) - German Speaking

Abnormal AI is seeking top-tier sales talent to join our elite sales organization as Business Development Representatives (BDRs). If you are passionate about sales and eager to excel, this is your opportunity to become the "tip of the spear" in driving new business within your assigned territory.

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be the initial point of contact for prospective clients, identifying needs and generating qualified sales opportunities. You'll engage with C-level stakeholders in medium to large organizations, requiring excellent communication and sales intuition. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, quick learners, and possess a strong drive to succeed.

What You Will Do

  • Initiate contact with potential clients through outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Identify client needs and propose suitable products and services.
  • Proactively discover new business opportunities within your territory.
  • Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns.
  • Exercise leadership, effective sales planning, and foster positive relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Abnormal Security's product offerings.

What We Look For (Must Haves)

  • 6 months to 1+ year of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role (less experience may be considered for exceptional candidates).
  • Fluency in German is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed sales team.
  • Capability to understand customer pain points, requirements, and translate them into business value.
  • Strong, professional communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
  • Aptitude for managing multiple requests and time demands concurrently while achieving production goals.
  • Hands-on experience with various sales techniques, including cold calling.
  • Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools in prospecting and daily workflows (we encourage you to share your experience).
  • High drive, grit, and a team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to compete and win.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
