Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, the Marketing Copywriter will develop compelling long- and short-form content, including web copy, product brochures, emails, case studies, and blog posts. This role is crucial for supporting teachers in successful curriculum implementation, elevating educator voices, and amplifying data-driven success stories. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, research, sales, and success teams to create content that clearly communicates the impact of Great Minds' curricula and supports broader marketing objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling content across various formats (web copy, emails, blog posts, case studies, brochures, internal communications) tailored for both classroom and administrative educator audiences.
- Translate research findings, program data, and educator insights into accessible and engaging narratives.
- Conduct interviews with customers and educators to develop impactful case studies and success stories.
- Ensure consistent application of Great Minds' brand voice, mission, and messaging standards across all content.
- Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously, meeting deadlines and proactively identifying timeline risks.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, subject matter experts, and marketing partners throughout the content development lifecycle.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in content writing, preferably within the education sector or for mission-driven organizations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, adaptable to various formats and audiences.
- Ability to synthesize complex information, including data and research, into clear and engaging copy.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience conducting interviews or working directly with customers is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related field.
Additional Information
- This is a remote US-based role.
- The expected base salary range for this position is $64,000 - $70,000, dependent on factors including location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
