The Opportunity

Due to continued demand and ambitious growth plans, Turner & Townsend is looking to recruit Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience across the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Airports, Highways, Power, Water, or Utilities). Opportunities are available in our London, Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester offices. As an embedded resource or through the Estimating Hub, you will support clients with a wide range of estimating outputs, from Order of Magnitude estimates to detailed first principles, as well as providing estimating assurance and support for major programme setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Control and manage the estimating process at the project level.
• Produce estimates independently, without management or supervision.
• Support the development and promotion of estimating best practices within Turner & Townsend.
• Assist in the achievement of departmental objectives.
• Stay abreast of developments within your technical area of expertise to provide best practice advice aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
• Relevant successful experience in providing estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment.
• Previous experience working with estimating software packages.
• Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status, or working towards it (e.g., RICS, CIOB, A. Cost E. - desirable).
