About the Role

As a Front-End Developer at CapTech, you will be an integral part of a high-energy community focused on mastering the latest tools and architectures to build innovative enterprise solutions. You'll engage in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality solutions, often in a project-based consulting environment. This role involves close collaboration with designers and clients, ensuring that technical implementations are not only functional but also adhere to accessibility guidelines and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver technical solutions tailored to unique client needs.
• Create high-quality deliverables that effectively communicate technical solutions to various audiences.
• Leverage CapTech’s internal programs and self-directed training for continuous professional development.
• Understand and implement established front-end design patterns.
• Communicate effectively with team members possessing diverse levels of technical knowledge.
• Actively pursue opportunities to learn new skills through collaboration on projects and internal initiatives.
• Provide technical mentoring and leadership to peers and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience focused on front-end development.
• Demonstrated progression in standards-compliant web development (semantic HTML, CSS, unobtrusive JavaScript, etc.).
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Familiarity with mobile hybrid technologies like React Native and Flutter.
• Ability to create responsive websites and understand device-agnostic development techniques.
• Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (LESS, Sass, Stylus, or PostCSS).
• Understanding of front-end development best practices, including performance optimization, design patterns, SEO, and client-side state management.
• Knowledge of accessibility development practices, meeting 508/WCAG compliance.
• High proficiency with development tools and workflows, including modern source control systems, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
• Familiarity with building and deploying CI/CD processes.
• Ability to translate design deliverables into responsive, cross-browser compatible web solutions.
• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms.
