Strategic Project Developer (m/f/d) - Quantum Technologies

Our partner company in Erfurt is seeking a Strategic Project Developer (m/f/d) to join their team at the earliest possible opportunity. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of quantum technologies.

About the Role

As a Strategic Project Developer / Business Developer Quantum Technology (m/f/d), you will be instrumental in defining the strategic direction of quantum technologies. This includes developing roadmaps, conducting market analyses, and identifying new market opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

• Shape the strategic direction of quantum technologies, including roadmaps, market analyses, and white-spot analyses.
• Monitor technological trends and market potentials, prepare assessments, and present findings at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events.
• Lead project acquisition with industry partners and prepare/submit public and internal funding applications.
• Initiate, maintain, and develop sustainable partnerships with industrial companies, research institutions, and cluster organizations.
• Represent the institute in national and European committees, author positioning papers, and contribute to the development of strategic concepts.

Your Qualifications

• Completed scientific university degree (Master/Diploma) in Natural Sciences or Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification in Quantum Technologies.
• Professional experience as a Project Manager (m/f/d), Business Developer (m/f/d), Technology Scout (m/f/d), Research Associate (m/f/d), or a comparable role.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), and analysis/visualization tools.
• Excellent communication skills, team orientation, structured working style, and initiative.
• Negotiation-level German and English language skills.
