About the Role

On behalf of our partner company in the north of Munich, we are looking for you as a "Public Finance Administrator / Financial Clerk (m/f/d)" starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • As a Public Finance Administrator / Financial Clerk (m/f/d), you will handle budget and financial planning for public institutions, own operations, and associated organizations.
  • You will participate in budget monitoring, including checking, evaluating, and reporting extraordinary and above-plan expenditures.
  • You will support the creation of the annual financial statements and year-end closing activities in municipal finance and accounting.
  • The creation of reports, financial analyses, and committee/resolution proposals is part of your regular tasks.
  • Additionally, you will represent tasks in the area of grants, subsidies, and funding, insurance, and cost and performance accounting.

Qualifications

  • You have completed training as a Public Finance Administrator (m/f/d), Public Service employee (m/f/d) with further training (BL II), or a comparable qualification, e.g., in financial administration, financial management, accounting, or treasury.
  • You have professional experience in public administration, preferably as a Financial Clerk (m/f/d), employee in the treasury (m/f/d), or in budget planning.
  • Ideally, you also have knowledge of municipal budget and cash accounting law.
  • You work responsibly, reliably, and independently, and are characterized by a structured and careful working method.
  • Proficient German language skills complete your profile.
