About the Role
As an Accounting Processor, you will be responsible for accurately processing accounting records and will be trained to prepare simple financial statements and management accounts in accordance with designated accounting frameworks. This role is crucial in supporting our client accounting teams and ensuring the timely delivery of financial information.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and post final bookkeeping entries for financial statements and management accounts.
- Process accounts payables, receivables, loans, and bank transactions for assigned client portfolios.
- Create or amend supplier and loan cards.
- Perform bank, investment, and other reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of client VAT returns and other basic Tax Returns.
- Provide additional bookkeeping and accounting support to Client Accounting staff.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
- Prepare simple annual financial statements and management accounts from client entity records.
- Deliver accounting services to clients across various jurisdictions within the Ocorian Group.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all Ocorian information.
- Comply with all information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Completed ACCA Level 2 and/or a first degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Ability to learn NAV, Viewpoint, and Value Financials software.
- Ability to learn UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting frameworks.
