Your Role: Technical Consultant for M2M Communication

As a key technical advisor, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication solutions for our business clients, with a focus on Smart Grid and Smart Metering.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive consultation and support to our business clients on all technical challenges within the scope of secure M2M communication, including Smart Grid and Smart Metering.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, managing customer projects from presales consultation, technical onboarding, and piloting through to stable implementation and expansion.
  • Support the sales team in presales activities through technical consultation, conceptualization, and customer presentations.
  • Address technical inquiries from clients, undertaking structured error analysis and sustainable problem-solving during testing and in live operation.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and technical departments.
  • Integrate customer requirements into the structured development of products and services.

Your Qualifications

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of end-to-end applications of IT and mobile radio technologies for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication.
  • Have experience specifically in the areas of Smart Grid and Smart Metering.
  • Experience in consulting complex ICT solutions in the B2B environment.
  • Demonstrate very good knowledge of modern mobile radio technologies and secure IT communication pathways.
  • Experience in IP management and secure connections, e.g., via fiber optic networks, APN structures, and API gateways.
  • Work analytically, structurally, and solution-orientedly, demonstrating a high degree of initiative.
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Have solid experience in project management and work effectively in project-oriented structures.
  • Proficiency in German (written and spoken) and good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Hold a completed degree or vocational training (e.g., in electrical, telecommunications, or information technology) or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience.
