Mindrift is seeking skilled Frontend Developers with expertise in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and React/Next.js to join the innovative Tendem project. As an AI Pilot, you will collaborate with AI agents and human specialists to build high-quality landing pages and multi-page websites within a hybrid AI + human environment.

About the Role

This is a freelance, part-time remote role for a Tendem project. You will be responsible for designing, building, and refining landing pages, waitlist pages, promo pages, and small multi-page sites. Your goal is to transform client briefs into responsive, performant, and polished web experiences that are conversion-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging landing pages, waitlist pages, and promo pages with clear calls-to-action and conversion-focused layouts.
• Construct small multi-page websites (e.g., portfolios, simple online stores) according to client requirements and basic information architecture.
• Implement responsive, mobile-first layouts that ensure seamless functionality across various devices and browsers.
• Integrate forms, email capture services, basic analytics, and simple CMS or headless content sources.
• Apply foundational on-page SEO principles (semantic HTML, meta tags, performance, accessibility) to optimize pages for search engines and ad campaigns.
• Critically evaluate AI-generated frontend output, refining markup, styling, structure, and copy placement to meet production quality standards.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve layout, performance, and cross-browser compatibility issues.

Requirements

• Required: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in frontend development, landing page production, or website development.
• Required: A portfolio showcasing shipped landing pages and/or small websites.
• Required: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above English proficiency.
• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Design, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong foundation in modern frontend development, responsive web design, and building high-quality landing pages and small websites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including responsive design techniques like Flexbox and Grid.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue, Astro).
• Experience with utility-first CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind) or modern component libraries.
• Ability to translate Figma designs or written briefs into clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with form handling, email capture services, and basic analytics setup (e.g., GA4, Plausible).
• Working knowledge of on-page SEO, accessibility (WCAG basics), and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with simple CMSs or headless content management (e.g., Webflow, Framer, Sanity, Contentful) is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong visual aesthetic.
• A self-directed work ethic with the ability to deliver complete pages with minimal supervision.

Project Details

• Estimated Workload: 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.
• Compensation: Up to $60 per hour equivalent, based on experience and contribution level.
