Your Role at BELKAW
As a Financial Controller (Accounting & Controlling), you will be the central point of contact for accounting, finance, and controlling matters. You will be responsible for the professional and commercial management of the external accounting service provider, ensuring the provision of orderly, timely, and high-quality data for financial accounting. You will be responsible for establishing, continuously developing, and ensuring professional cost and results controlling. In doing so, you will actively support sales controlling and help to steer economic activities purposefully. A central part of your work is to create transparency regarding cost structures, budgets, and financial developments within the company. By systematically analyzing and preparing relevant financial data, you will provide reliable decision-making and management bases for management and specialist departments, thus making a significant contribution to strategic corporate management.
We are looking for this position starting immediately, part-time up to 30 hours per week.

Your Tasks
- Professional management and coordination of the external financial accounting service provider, including:
- Coordination of booking logic, account assignment, and deferrals (with service providers and internally).
- Ensuring adherence to deadlines (quarterly/annual closings, forecasts, etc.).
- Checking the quality, plausibility, and completeness of reports from service providers.
- Checking the quality, plausibility, and completeness of processed results.
- Central interface between the external accounting service provider, internal departments, and management.
- Responsibility for internal cost and budget controlling.
- Establishment, maintenance, and further development of cost centers, cost types, and budget structures.
- Regular analysis of cost developments, budgets, and deviations.
- Derivation of control and action recommendations for cost deviations.
- Preparation, commentary, and presentation of financial and controlling key figures.
- Support with annual, budget, and forecast planning.
- Support with the creation of business plans and calculation models.
- Further development of controlling instruments, key figure systems, and reporting.
- Identification of optimization potential in cost structures, processes, and workflows.
- Support with the further development of finance-relevant processes and structures.
Your Profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship with a focus on accounting or a completed degree in business administration or economics with a focus on Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a comparable field.
- Further additional qualifications in Controlling, Accounting, or Financial Management are advantageous.
- Alternatively, well-founded experience in Accounting and Controlling, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Very good understanding of process, performance, quality, and cost structures.
- Ability to evaluate complex issues, prioritize tasks, and make independent decisions.
- Strong communication, coordination, and moderation skills.
- Confident handling of key figures, analyses, and control instruments.
- Knowledge of the specifics of the energy industry.
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel for analysis and control.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
