About the Role

This position involves active participation in a current research project focused on the industrial digitalization and the networking of machines. The core of the work revolves around developing standards and interfaces for machine data acquisition, contributing to the advancement of Industry 4.0.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a current research project.
• Conduct research on interfaces and standards for machine data acquisition.
• Develop a typology for Asset Administration Shells.
• Collaborate on scientific and practice-oriented publications.
• Pilot the developed interface standard in a real production environment.

Your Profile:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
• A self-directed, engaged, meticulous, and goal-oriented approach to work.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
