Your contributions will directly enhance release confidence and operational excellence.

You will partner closely with backend, frontend, data, and AI engineering teams to eliminate operational bottlenecks, refine developer workflows, and standardize service development, deployment, and operation. This is a hands-on role with tangible impact, focusing on improving CI pipeline reliability, accelerating incident detection, and enhancing infrastructure cost visibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Enhance CI Reliability & Developer Productivity: Minimize flaky pipelines and shorten feedback loops in CI/CD systems to improve developer experience and delivery speed.
  • Strengthen Observability & Incident Readiness: Develop actionable dashboards, alerts, and SLOs for critical user journeys to expedite issue detection, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Operate & Evolve Kubernetes Platform: Manage and enhance our AWS EKS environment, ensuring safe deployments, runtime reliability, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Drive Infrastructure Automation: Expand infrastructure-as-code practices using Pulumi and TypeScript; build reusable platform primitives and self-service patterns for engineering teams.
  • Improve Security & Governance: Bolster access management, secrets handling, and secure defaults across infrastructure and engineering workflows.
  • Optimize Infrastructure Costs: Identify key cost drivers (e.g., data transfer, compute, logging) and improve cost visibility and ownership across teams.

What You’ll Need

  • Kubernetes & Cloud Expertise: Minimum 5 years of production experience managing Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • CI/CD Expertise: Solid experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions) and a proven track record of enhancing pipeline reliability.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with tools like Pulumi or Terraform, and a history of building reusable infrastructure patterns.
  • Observability Knowledge: Practical experience with metrics, logging, tracing, and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana).
  • Security Mindset: Understanding of IAM, access control, secrets management (e.g., Vault), and secure operational practices.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work cross-functionally and drive technical initiatives from ambiguity to measurable outcomes.
