Our client develops and produces high-quality specialized products for demanding industrial customers, standing for quality, innovation, and sustainable growth.

To strengthen the Finance team, we are looking for a dedicated Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Participation in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including the consolidation of subsidiaries.
• Ensuring high-quality financial statements and timely reporting and closing processes.
• Responsibility for selected areas of ongoing financial accounting.
• Performing account, intercompany, and balance reconciliations.
• Acting as the point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, tax auditors, and internal departments.
• Preparation and support of annual audits and tax audits.
• Supporting management with balance sheet, business, and process-related issues.
• Assisting with tax matters and statistical reporting.
• Analyzing, optimizing, and digitizing accounting and finance processes.
• Actively contributing to efficient workflows, automation, and modern reporting structures.
• Participating in cross-departmental projects and special topics.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed business administration studies with a focus on accounting, finance, or controlling, OR further education as a certified Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK).
• Several years of professional experience in the finance and accounting department of a medium-sized company or corporation.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial statement preparation according to HGB.
• Experience in group consolidation is an advantage.
• Confident demeanor when dealing with auditors and tax advisors.
• Good ERP knowledge, ideally in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Very good Excel skills and a strong affinity for numbers and processes.
• Interest in digitalization, automation, and modern finance structures.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, and sense of responsibility.
• Good English skills for collaboration with international companies.
