About the Role

As a Finance Expert, you will take on significant responsibility within the finance department. You will be instrumental in developing processes, acting as a competent point of contact for accounting matters, and contributing to the company's financial success.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory accounting regulations.
• Assisting in the consolidation and preparation of financial data at the group level.
• Ensuring proper and transparent financial reporting.
• Independently managing selected balance sheet and P&L areas.
• Reviewing and reconciling accounts, and monitoring intercompany transactions.
• Close collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal decision-makers.
• Supporting audits and tax-related and commercial law matters.
• Preparing business analyses and decision-making foundations for management.
• Contributing to the creation of statistics, notifications, and reports.
• Developing existing processes in finance and accounting.
• Supporting digitalization projects and the implementation of efficient workflows.
• Participating in cross-departmental topics and strategic special projects.

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or a comparable further education in the accounting field.
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Very good knowledge of preparing financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code).
• Experience in a corporate group environment or with group-wide reporting structures is advantageous.
• Understanding of business contexts and an analytical mindset.
• Proficient use of ERP systems and standard MS Office applications.
• High affinity for numbers and a meticulous work approach.
• Enjoyment in critically questioning existing processes and implementing improvements.
• Independent work combined with team spirit and strong communication skills.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
