Energie5, a dynamic subsidiary of Reshape Energy, is driving the energy transition through innovative renewable energy solutions for commercial properties. Our focus is on commercial photovoltaic systems and storage solutions. Due to our growth, we are seeking active support for our Operations Team in Cologne.

Your Mission

As a Project Manager / Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the operational implementation of PV projects in the commercial sector – from planning to commissioning. Simultaneously, you will fulfill a key special function in building, expanding, and managing our network of specialized partners.

Approximately 60% of your role will be dedicated to operational project management, while about 40% will focus on specialized partner management: identifying suitable installation and implementation partners, building strong relationships, developing collaboration standards, and ensuring our network keeps pace with our growth.

Your Tasks at a Glance

Project Management & Operations

  • Independent management of PV projects from planning to handover.
  • Steering and coordination of installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Close collaboration with sales, technical departments, and other internal interfaces.
  • Continuous improvement of processes, organizational, and cost structures in a dynamic, scaling environment.

Special Function: Partner Network – Approx. 40% of the Role

  • Building, expanding, and maintaining a high-performing network of specialized partners for installation, electrical work, and other implementation services.
  • Identifying, approaching, and qualifying new specialized partners.
  • Developing criteria, standards, and processes for partner selection and evaluation, supported by DC & AC trade specialists.
  • Structured support of existing specialized partners and regular coordination regarding quality, capacity, availability, and collaboration.
  • Assistance with price, performance, and framework agreements in close coordination with Operations and Management.
  • Building a scalable partner pool that operationally secures our growth in Cologne and beyond.

Your Qualifications

  • You have prior experience in the operational implementation of PV projects, ideally with a focus on commercial installations.
  • You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and enjoy taking responsibility.
  • Additionally, you enjoy developing external partners, building relationships, and creating structures for professional collaboration.
  • Several years of experience in project or operations management in the field of photovoltaics, ideally in the commercial sector.
  • Sound technical understanding of PV systems.
  • Experience in managing installation teams, subcontractors, or external service providers.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with specialized partners and suppliers.
  • Structured, practical work style with high initiative.
  • Leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of planning tools like PVSOL is a plus.
  • Experience with installation standards (e.g., VDE-AR-N 4110 or VDE-AR-N 4105) is a plus.
  • Very good German language skills (spoken and written).
