Group Controller (m/w/d) - Direct Placement

About the Company

Proxy Temp is a regional HR service provider from the Rhine-Main area, connecting skilled and management professionals with the right companies. On behalf of an established, internationally active technology company in mechanical engineering, located in Dietzenbach, we are seeking an experienced Group Controller (m/w/d) for direct placement and permanent employment.

The Role

The company offers a modern work environment, flat hierarchies, and real design opportunities in controlling. You will take on a central role in group controlling and work closely with the Head of Group Planning and Controlling.

Responsibilities (Aufgaben)

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly group reporting and regular statistics.
• Participation in quotation preparation (preliminary costing) in compliance with group guidelines.
• Monitoring of ongoing costing and preparation of post-costing.
• Assistance with quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Monthly cost center and cost unit discussions.
• Preparation, monitoring, and updating of the operating cost statement (BAB).
• Inventory valuation in compliance with group guidelines.

Qualifications (Qualifikation)

• Completed degree in business administration, training as a controller, or comparable qualification with an affinity for controlling.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in operational controlling, group controlling, or project controlling in a manufacturing company – experience in mechanical engineering is a clear plus.
• Proficient in HGB closing procedures.
• Very good Excel skills (references, pivot – no macros required); knowledge of Diamant or ISAH is an advantage.
• Proactive, inquisitive approach: you ask questions, challenge numbers, and actively seek the information you need.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% (national, irregular, max. 1-2 days per week).
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills (school grade 2-3) in spoken and written.
• Availability: immediately or with a notice period of max. 3 months.
