Your Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the IONOS Group according to IFRS, and support in preparing capital market-relevant disclosures in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Ensuring ESEF-compliant reporting.
- Serving as a liaison between corporate functions and commercial departments/responsible individuals in local subsidiaries.
- Supporting and advising subsidiaries on accounting issues, particularly under IFRS but also under German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Providing expert assessments on accounting issues, as well as issues related to capital market and legal requirements surrounding the consolidated financial statements of the IONOS Group.
- Developing and expanding the group accounting guidelines according to IFRS in collaboration with the Group Accounting department of United Internet AG.
- Expanding and continuously improving the accounting-relevant internal control system (ICS) in cooperation with other departments.
- Participating in accounting-related projects.
Your Qualifications:
- Completed university degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Financial Reporting, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in group accounting within an international corporation or at an auditing firm.
- Profound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), consolidation, and reporting obligations of a publicly traded company.
- A structured and meticulous approach to work, coupled with analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
- Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Motivation for continuous professional development and willingness to contribute your own experiences to existing processes.
- Ideally, knowledge of SAP and IDL-Consis or another consolidation software.
