What We're Looking For
We're seeking a results-oriented Area Sales Manager who excels at collaborative selling. You will align Garage Beer's priorities with distributor partners to develop and execute Annual Business Plans focused on achieving volume objectives. This role requires a strong market presence and frequent in-person work-withs to ensure flawless execution. You'll lead the defined territory, working closely with internal teams to achieve strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer and solution-based selling with Distributors.
- Direct and collaborate with assigned distributors on the development of the Annual Distributor Business Plan (ABP).
- Bring Garage Beer marketing initiatives to life in the local market in partnership with distributors.
- Analyze, segment, and develop target account lists for Garage Beer distribution and display.
- Ensure execution of chain and independent distribution, features, and displays to drive volume performance.
- Conduct regular in-market work-withs to identify and capitalize on retail execution opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in beverage, beer, distributor, supplier, or CPG sales.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth.
- Proficiency or strong capacity to learn various internal (VIP, Karma) and external (syndicated data, distributor reporting) data sources for insights and storytelling.
- This is a remote role requiring travel primarily within your assigned territory, with occasional travel for company or industry events.
