About the Role: Workday Financials Consultant

As a Consultant, you will be essential in "bridging the gap" between business and technical teams by resolving complex Workday inter-system challenges. You will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of their Workday journey. This role requires a strong technical aptitude to configure the system according to business requirements and design specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day Workday Financials project support for various client contracts.
• Develop deep expertise in Workday Financials core functionality and future product direction.
• Lead client accounts, directly managing projects with high-quality deliverables, on time and within budget.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices.
• Conduct client sessions to analyze business requirements and propose solutions for complex business problems.
• Manage account communication with key client users.
• Coordinate operations meetings, requests, priorities, and SLAs.
• Mentor other consultants and actively share product knowledge to grow the practice.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA is preferred.
• Workday Financial Supplemental Certification is an advantage (Budget, Expense, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Customer to Cash, etc.).
• Proficiency with business processes including: general ledger, budgeting, cash management, grant management, chart of accounts re-design, procure-to-pay, purchase order conversions, expense management, fixed asset management, and/or order-to-cash.
• Previous experience with other ERP Financials and/or Procurement technology (Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft) is an advantage.
• Strong consulting and presentation skills with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
• Strong analytical mindset and proficiency with analytics and reporting tools.
