About the Project & Client

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant for a leading regional energy and utility provider. The project focuses on implementing the New GL within an existing SAP ECC landscape, serving as a technical and process preparation for a future S/4 HANA migration.

Your Tasks:

• Implement and configure the New GL in the SAP ECC system.
• Implement Scenario 5 (Parallel Ledgers) to map different accounting regulations.
• Design and set up Document Splitting within Financial Accounting.
• Provide functional consulting on the optimal configuration of Ledger scenarios concerning the planned S/4 HANA migration.
• Conduct functional and integration tests for the new GL components.
• Ensure structured knowledge transfer regarding the implemented New GL functionalities.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Extensive experience as an SAP FI Consultant in an SAP ECC environment.
• Proven expertise in implementing New GL, including Document Splitting.
• Detailed knowledge and project experience with Scenario 5 (Parallel Ledgers).
• Proficient in the configuration and functional application of Document Splitting.
• Experience in projects preparing for S/4 HANA migration within Financial Accounting.
• Project experience in the municipal energy supply sector.

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of other New GL migration scenarios, such as Scenario 3.
• Willingness for professional knowledge exchange and transfer within the project team.
