About the Role

Everlaw is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Executive who embodies our company values: attention to detail, setting your own bar, egoless communication, and respect for customers. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business with enterprise-level customers in the AmLaw 200 domain, focusing on understanding their business needs and articulating how Everlaw's SaaS solution can help them achieve their goals. This role will focus on both existing Everlaw customers and prospects considering Everlaw as a platform.

This is an opportunity to make an impact on the industry by bringing proven, fast cloud-based technology to prospects looking for a way to future-proof their ediscovery requirements.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Senior Level legal professionals regarding their ediscovery, content management, and collaboration needs.
  • Deploy strategic thinking to lead sophisticated sales cycles from qualification and demo to close.
  • Collaborate with other Account Executives, Sales Development Reps, and Sales Directors to grow your product knowledge and build a healthy pipeline of interested leads.
  • Demonstrate technology to subject matter experts in the ediscovery field and manage firm-wide opportunities from start to finish.
  • Develop a key understanding of your pipeline and target objectives, and present those insights to Sales Directors and the VP of Sales.
  • Gain continuous growth through training from our Sales Enablement Team.
  • Contribute to team growth and success through continuous process improvement as you work to achieve your quota and bring on new customers.

About You

  • A proven track record of success selling SaaS platforms into net new accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota ($1.3M+ ARR).
  • Inherently curious and excited about emerging technologies.
  • At least 7 years of successful quota-carrying experience in SaaS sales, with the ability to hunt for and build your own pipeline.
  • A track record of working through complex business sales processes.
  • Extremely motivated to achieve goals and comfortable setting your own bar for success.
  • Available to travel throughout the United States to meet with clients and team members.
  • Comfortable creating needs analysis content and presenting to Senior Leadership at prospective accounts.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves, pitch in, and help colleagues achieve team goals.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment requiring independent and adaptive work, anticipation and mitigation of friction points, and initiative to promptly resolve and learn from challenges.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; Everlaw is not sponsoring visas for any positions.

Pluses

  • 3+ years of selling for a Managed Service Provider in the legal tech space.
  • 3+ years of experience selling in the ediscovery space.

  • Compensation: Annual base salary of $175,000, with a total On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $350,000. The variable component is performance-based. Compensation is subject to change.

Location

Preferably based in Oakland, CA or New York City office. Remote/region-based candidates in cities with significant AmLaw presence are also supported. Office-based employees are eligible for a hybrid work schedule (in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr).
