ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our purchase flows, pricing surfaces, and conversion mechanics. You will be responsible for driving the product vision for how we model offers, configure pricing, and build internal tooling to scale our monetization engine. This is a high-visibility role at the center of onX's subscription business, leading a cross-functional pod and partnering closely with Marketing, Data, and vertical teams to achieve measurable revenue impact through experimentation and product strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (Essential Job Duties & Functions)

  • Own purchase flows and upsell strategy: Define and execute the product vision for user discovery, evaluation, and conversion to paid membership across mobile and web.
  • Lead experimentation: Design and run A/B tests on pricing surfaces, checkout flows, and monetization mechanics, using results to drive roadmap decisions.
  • Scale monetization infrastructure: Enhance the purchasing engine (paywall surfaces, in-app purchases, web checkout) to enable faster iteration and reduced time-to-market.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Own the pod roadmap and communicate priorities across Engineering, Design, Marketing, and senior leadership.
  • Champion customer-informed decision making: Synthesize data, user research, and funnel analytics to continuously improve conversion quality and purchase experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Eight (8) years of relevant experience, with at least four (4) years in product management at a consumer-facing mobile software company.
  • Proven experience with subscription monetization (paywalls, pricing surfaces, checkout flows, in-app purchases).
  • Strong experimentation instincts with a track record of designing and interpreting A/B tests that drove decisions.
  • Fluency with data analysis and translating metrics into product strategy.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate product workflows.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing without authority.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Alignment with onX’s Company Values.
  • Permanent US work authorization.
  • Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days.

ADDED BONUSES

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Previous experience with digital subscriptions, purchasing flows, onboarding, or personalization.
  • Background in onboarding, activation, or freemium conversion.
  • Passion for outdoor recreation.

Distributed workforce across various US locations, with HQ in Bozeman and Missoula, MT, and virtual workforce Basecamps in Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Kalispell, MT; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; and Seattle, WA.

HOW YOU’LL BE COMPENSATED

  • Salary Range: $143,000 - $197,000 annually.
  • Equity: Eligible for common share options with a vesting schedule.
  • Bonus: Annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
