Marketplace Strategy Lead (m/w/d)

About the Role

• Development and implementation of the Marketplace Strategy for international rollout.
• Management of the Marketplace Development Team in coordination with product and technology stakeholders.
• Definition, prioritization, and implementation of new eCommerce Features and user journeys.
• Ensuring Data Protection, IT security, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration with Marketing, UI/UX, Architecture, and Technical Product Teams.
• Integration of external applications, services, and plug-ins into the Marketplace platform.
• Analysis and optimization of marketplace performance, conversion rates, and user experience.

What You Should Bring

• Minimum of four years of experience in Software Product Development of complex digital products.
• Experience in the eCommerce environment or with customer-oriented platform solutions.
• Knowledge of common eCommerce platforms such as Commercetools, Magento, or Intershop.
• Understanding of data management, IT security, and system integrations.
• Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum, SAFe, or comparable frameworks.
• Knowledge of SEO, User Experience, and current eCommerce trends.
• Very good English language skills and strong communication and collaboration abilities in international teams.
